    Now is this a public sign posted by Homo sapiens? I thought they liked hunters! May my cynical comment help in any way…Great photo by the way.

      Funny, Maria. For the Red-tailed Hawk, at least, signs were of no consequence.

      Mia, I’m anxious to visit this area at least one more time this winter, when I might have time to photograph more than we did on this trip. In the same zone, many Bald Eagles were playing and performing aerobatics over a nearby field. I imagine if I spent the day, I could wait it out until the antics were close enough for good images.

      Or … Dan and Tom can use as many shells as they like in this “no hunting,” 15-shell limit hunting area. 😉
