We were at the north point at Albany Bulb on an evening when the fog was pouring in like a river. Looking at this sculpture from the east, I saw the sun fading in and out of the fog stream, and I placed the sun in the figure’s outstretched hand, once the fog thinned enough to reveal the orb.

Photographed with my iPhone, cropped and processed in Lightroom. I saturated the colors a bit for artistic effect, and adjusted black point, exposure, and contrast, while also toning down the noise. Lastly, I applied a subtle, dark vignette.
