The photos here are either stitched panoramas or composites I've created from multiple images in Photoshop.
I thank wildlife photographer George Lepp for his influence in creating telephoto landscapes. A stitched panorama of long-lens shots can capture the environment up close and wide, with a different level of detail and tone from a wide angle shot.
The aircraft and bird silhouettes against the moon, as well as the kingfisher composite image, give a bit more context to a moment that might be otherwise be lost or unclear in a single photo frame.
